Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of minced meat
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • Salt, black pepper, cumin
  • 1 tea glass İpek Fine Bulgur
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 cups of water
  • Half a glass of boiled green lentils
  • Half a glass of boiled chickpeas
  • Juice of half a lemon

On top:

  • Chili pepper

Preparation:

Put the minced meat, basil, salt, black pepper, cumin, and bulgur in a bowl and knead well by hand. Shape into hazelnut-sized meatballs. Set them aside. Chop the onions finely and sauté them in a pot with tomato paste and margarine for 2-3 minutes. Then add the water and bring to a boil. Add the lentils, chickpeas, lemon juice, and prepared meatballs and cook for 20 minutes. After removing from the stove, sprinkle with chili pepper and serve. Bon Appetit!
