Ingredients:

  • • 250 grams of fresh leaves
  • • 2 cups of İpek coarse bulgur
  • • 1 tea glass of olive oil
  • • 1 onion
  • • 250 grams of green plums
  • • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • • 1 tablespoon of pomegranate syrup
  • • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • • Salt, black pepper, cumin

Preparation:

Wash the leaves thoroughly and boil them until soft. Meanwhile, soak the bulgur with very little water for 5 minutes. Chop the onion and lightly brown it in olive oil. Remove the pot from the stove and add finely chopped garlic, tomato paste, pomegranate molasses, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Add this mixture to the soaked bulgur and blend well. Place a teaspoon of the mixture on the leaves and wrap them tightly. Place the wraps in a pot and cover them with one or two leaves. Wash the green plums and add them to the pot. Add enough water to cover the wraps. Cook slowly over high heat, then reduce to low heat. Serve the cooked wraps, optionally garnished with lemon slices. Bon Appetit!
